Accra City tour
With 87.4% of its population residing in urban areas, the Greater Accra region is the most urbanized in the nation. Accra, which serves as both the capital of Ghana and the Greater Accra Region, is located in Ghana. The Homowo festival, which the Ga people observe, is named after the expression “hooting at hunger.” This festival has been around for many centuries. It is observed to commemorate a severe famine that the Ga people experienced in the sixteenth century. It is primarily a food festival that honors the end of that terrible chapter in Georgian history. All of the Ga clans participate in the celebration, which always takes place in August.
